Our Clients requested a portion of their house be re-leveled and restumped as they were doing renovations to their bathroom at the back of the building.
Windows at the back of the house were cracked and doors could not be shut properly because the house had sunk in this area. It is important before carrying out renovations that your house is level and that the stumps are in good condition. The stumps in this portion of the house were rotted and were sinking into the ground. Our team replaced the old rotted timber stumps with adjustable steel stumps and new timber stumps on the outer edges of the house so that they matched the existing outer stumps. This Ipswich house restumping job was completed quickly and the owners were able to continue the renovations to the house.
